Don’t forget indoor flying tonight at 6pm. You can also pay your IEQF dues ($50) there as well.
The club calendar has been updated with the 2018 club meeting schedule. There are NO meetings for February and March. First meeting will be in April. Please keep an eye on the calendar as we will be moving our meetings to the club and weather could be a factor.

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. This is a quick reminder that we will be meeting on Monday, New Year’s Day, for breakfast at Denny’s on Argonne just north of the freeway at 9am. From there we’ll go to Centennial Middle School playground, corner of Broadway and Park to attempt some snow flying. Put the skis or floats on your electric and come fly first thing in the new year.…Read More
Thanks for those meeting minutes Dave. I think we all appreciate the work our club officers have done for the club. Many times its a thankless job but we do it because we love to fly and without willing members to hold these positions the club could not exist. So thank you to all the past officers: Lee, Steve, Robin, Rod, Bob, etc. Also I want to thank Dave, Anne & Jim…Read More

Thank you, Rex and Larry for winterizing the field.
Good that we removed the canopy at the field yesterday. More snow could have ripped out the groumets or maybe bent the frame. Anyway, that is done, the lawn mower is winterized, the generator is winterized and put back in the trailer at Steve’s house along with the battery and battery charger. Larry and I also drove the path to the electric/plastic runway that Curtis suggested. It l…Read More

Thanks Larry. I’ll be there at 10a. Let’s getter done!
I will be there Sat at 10am, I will bring a ladder and some snippers.
I won\’t be able to make it Saturday morning. Hopefully a few will show up. If you reschedule, let me know.
At the meeting last night we identified that we need to get some work done at the field ASAP. Shade canopy down, lawn mower winterized, generator moved back to the trailer and winterized. I plan to be there tomorrow, Saturday, 10am. I’ll need some help with the canopy and the generator. Who will join me? If no one can else make it on Saturday I’ll try for Sunday at 10am.
Yes you should go next year! I think that most of us that went had a ball and the more the merrier. We’ll talk about the trip tonight so other club members can get some vicarious thrills.
See you there.
Those look great! Really gotta try to make it down there next year. Way to represent NWSS and IEQF, all!
