Farragut Flying Site


Description

This site is the maintained under contract with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation.  It is a flat land site open to flyers of all kinds.

Directions:

Idaho Hwy 95 to Hwy 54.  East on Hwy 54 to Park entrance.  Next paved road to north, then first right.

Flying Conditions:

The site is in the middle of cleared land, with mown grass in the flying area.  Some trees to the east and sloping terrain can create some hazards, but generally a very forgiving thermal site.

Facilities:

Honey buckets on site.  Food and gas in Athol.  Camping at the park.
