2002 Man-on-Man F3J

The Inland Empire Quiet Flyers invites you to attend a special event combining the best from F3J and TD at the spectacular Jacklin Turf Grass Research Farm in Beautiful North Idaho.

Saturday and Sunday, August 3rd and 4th, 2002.

MAN ON MAN F3J style with winches.
Groups of five or more pilots launch nearly simultaneously (one minute launch window) with a ten minute precision duration task. When we held this event last year we were delighted to discover that beginner and intermediate pilots had as much fun as the experts.

Entry fee of $20 covers both days.

Camping
Overnight camping at the field is available for fully self-contained RV's. No open fires are allowed.

Schedule of Events
Friday:     12:00 noon to ??? - Practice at IEQF club field in Post Falls.

Saturday: 8:20 AM - Pilots meeting
              9:00 AM - Flying starts
              7:00 PM - Barbeque at Curt Nead's home

Sunday:   8:20 - Pilots meeting
              9:00 - Flying starts

NOTE: The location of this event is dependent on harvesting of grass grown on the field. The location shown below is one of two possible sites. As the event date draws near, we will post specifics of the site location.

An outstanding venue with lots of room and thermal activity. Located just 40 minutes east of Spokane International Airport.

Food:
No food service will be available at the site. Bring your own food and water. Fast food is a short drive away.

Saturday Barbeque:
Curt Nead will host a barbeque at 7:00 PM Saturday night. For $5.00 you can have burgers, chips, pop, dessert, and other goodies (BYOB).
